The fourth edition of the TEMPORIS Awards Gala, an event organized annually by TEMPORIS magazine, edited by Autofan Company, was hosted this year by the Hilton Hotel in Bucharest, and the finalists of the 13 watch categories were announced by Ionela Năstase and George Zafiu. Among the personalities who handed out the awards in 2015 were Mircea Coşea, Mădălina Nistor, Peter Imre, Dan Cazacu, Cosmin Vladimirescu, Victor Topalu, Gabriel Biriş, Marius Ghenea, Eduard Uzunov, Horaţiu Nicolau and Tudor Furir.
The concept of nominating the winners of the 13 categories of the TEMPORIS Awards – original and transparent – consisted first of selecting 66 finalist watches from a total of 500. The selection was made by a jury of Jan Lidmansky (Czech journalist), Kari Voutilainen (renowned independent watchmaker), Nicholas Foulkes (columnist for Vanity Fair, Financial Times and Newsweek), Philippe Dufour (the world’s most famous and acclaimed independent watchmaker), Bojan Levic (owner of Kronomedia magazine in Slovenia), Peter Imre (passionate about watches), Radu Budeş (president of Splendid Media) and Dan Vardie (founder of TEMPORIS). This was followed by the vote of the readers of TEMPORIS magazine, which was attended by about 3,500 people, through the website www.temporis.ro
The Girard-Perregaux and Omega companies, as well as the stores in Bucharest Galt Orologerie Elveţiană were among the partners of the 2015 edition of the TEMPORIS Awards Gala.
