TEMPORIS International Awards Hosts Exclusive Pre-Event in Neuchâtel

More than 10 years ago, TEMPORIS magazine established a new reference in the watch industry with the TEMPORIS Awards Gala. 14 original categories redefines the traditional TEMPORIS competition with a fresh new approach closer to modern life. The winners of the awards were voted by readers around the world; therefore, the names of the categories presented in 2024 are universal and easy to adopt with a contemporary touch and feel.
The winners of the TEMPORIS International Awards – TIA – were invited to the TEMPORIS International Awards Gala on October 2023 to be awarded during a prestigious Gala event. Ceremony. The first 8 Gala Editions have been held in Bucharest, Romania and after an interruption of 2 years, caused by the pandemic, the 10-th TEMPORIS INTERNATIONAL 2022 Gala Awards was launched for its second international edition in October 2023 in Zurich.
All the listed categories are reserved for mechanical watches except for the quartz ladies watch and of the connected watch categories.
*Each category has 6 nominations.
It is not by coincidence that we have a category exclusively reserved for quartz watches as the latter remain very important in the watch industry representing a large number of sales on the worldwide markets.
In 2015 we also introduced – as a world first! – a new category dedicated to connected/smartwatches being at the forefront of the incredible developments in this segment. Also, in 2023 we celebrated the best watch presented at Watches & Wonders as its masterpiece.
The listed categories gravitate around useful technical features because we want our awards to become a valuable reference when investing and purchasing a watch. We wish for our readers to be able to choose a watch that fits entirely their everyday needs.
Lastly, we have also highlighted a category for untraditional designs and technical features to represent each of the watch industry actors.
Our categories have become a benchmark in the industry, easy to be quoted and remembered, making proud any Maison for winning one of the TEMPORIS Awards.
To celebrate the X-th edition of the Temporis International Awards, we had let again the public around the world to decide the winners!
For the second time in the history of the Temporis Gala Awards, the public from over 70 countries had the opportunity to vote and decide which brands and watches should win the prestigious Temporis Gala Awards.
*The vote for 2024 will be announced in the second half of the year.

Candidates in this field must have a minimum 5 year of continuous activity. The Jury will study the existence of distribution, after-sales service, etc. This new category was launched for the first time at the TIA 2022 awards.

This category is giving a direct vote to the Jury members. Every Jury member will vote for 5 of his/her favorites all categories combined. Every vote equals one point. The winner is the timepiece with the maximum of points. In the case of two timepieces receiving the same number of votes, a second round will take place to vote for one final winner.
