12th Edition Returns to Zürich with a Bold New Theme – “Build Your Time”
Zürich, July 17th, 2025: The TEMPORIS International Awards (TIA), the Golden Globes of global watchmaking, proudly announces the 78 finalists of its 12th edition, set to take place on October 2nd, 2025, at the iconic Kongresshaus Zürich. With the theme “Build Your Time”, this year’s edition emphasizes vision, craftsmanship, and purpose in the art of horology, celebrating the best watches in the world.
In this 12th edition of the TEMPORIS International Awards, 78 exceptional timepieces have been shortlisted across 13 categories – each a bold testament to the unrelenting spirit of innovation, artistry, and intention that defines contemporary watchmaking.
From storied maisons to fearless independents, this year’s selection goes beyond mechanics. It honors the intimate, visionary act of shaping time itself. This isn’t just watchmaking. This is how you Build Your Time.
Bvlgari and Rolex lead the nominations, each commanding the spotlight with four standout entries – proof that excellence isn’t just sustained, it’s relentlessly pursued. Right behind them, TAG Heuer, H. Moser & Cie, Vacheron Constantin, and A. Lange & Söhne hold strong with three nominations apiece, setting the tone for a field defined by aesthetic courage and mechanical conviction. Cartier, Frederique Constant, Hermès, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Omega, Parmigiani Fleurier, Patek Philippe, Sinn and Tissot managed to get two nominations in two different categories.
On the model ranking, with 3 nominations in 3 different categories, the Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon and the Rolex Land-Dweller are the watches that impressed the TIA 2025 Jury the most. Patek Philippe Quadruple Complication, TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph, and Vacheron Constantin Solaria Ultra Grand Complication also stood out, each securing 2 nominations across two different categories.Drawn from 53 unique brands from the heart of Switzerland, across Germany, France, Italy, and Japan, to emerging voices from Belgium, the UK, the Netherlands, and Singapore, this year’s finalists form a constellation of global horological excellence. Emerging brands like Äonic, Berneron, and Micromilspec stand proudly beside industry giants, proving that the future of time belongs to those who dare to create it.
Whether it’s a poetic complication, a disruptive design, or a solar-powered promise for the future, each finalist is a fragment of time brought to life – an idea made eternal.
Because at TEMPORIS, time doesn’t just pass. It leaves a mark.
“With two powerhouse brands each achieving four nominations across distinct categories – a milestone in the history of the Golden Globes of Global Watchmaking – with two watch models getting a record of three nominations in as many different categories and with the invaluable addition of six new jury members this year, the 2025 selection process has attained new heights of rigor and distinction. Our mission remains steadfast: to be the world’s foremost watchmaking award where both expert insight and public voice unite to honor true mastery. Fourteen years since its founding, the TEMPORIS International Awards proudly stand as the Golden Globes of Global Watchmaking – where innovation, excellence, and community come together in perfect harmony.”
